ATWP COVID Online Dance Policy April 2021 Onwards.
At ATWP we have updated our COVID policy and plans if such a time comes post-April 1st, 2021 where we must close active classes once again. During our online class time, we have and will continue to reduce the fees for parents who are registered and have children in classes. Please see the details below of our COVID 19 action plan which becomes effective immediately if the school must close again.
Please note there are some differences in our policy from our 2020 policy.
1. All students who wish to keep their place will continue to pay for classes even if they should not want to take part in online classes. We put a lot of effort and planning into classes and will work with parents and students alike to adhere to the needs of each child.
2. Student fees will reduce to 45 min class 3.50 Weekly, 1-hour classes 4.00 Weekly, LAMDA will be a Free Class. The school regardless of lockdown will still have overheads and as such we are unable to allow registration of a place when places are now capped to be voluntary unpaid.
3. If fees during lockdown are not paid in a timely manner, students will be taken off the registration and their place will be given to another on our waiting list, and they will no longer be a part of the school. We understand the many financial circumstances of families and as such we immediately reduce fees.

Primary & Class 1 – 09:15 – 10:00
Class 2, 3 & 4 – 10:05 – 11:05
Competition Jr & Senior 11:05 – 12:05
LAMDA 12:05 – 12:30
We greatly reduce the times so that students can focus with the team on a theme, we do not continue class examination content online as we feel this is not the best way to teach and work on technique, we recognize the difficulty in relation to space and many other safety aspects including ventilation. Much like during our most recent time online we worked on a very interesting theme ‘Dancing Around the World’ which explored new and exciting cultures of dance and new genres for the students to engage and experience.
